My Old Kentucky Home State Park, Bardstown KY
Shelby reached out to me about her wedding when I was just moving back from Missouri. When she told me about the location I was so excited. I remember going to the park when I was a little kid. Never dreamed of shooting a wedding here in my future. Jason and Shelby’s wedding day was so special and full of love. I spent the first hour hanging with the groomsmen – this was an important part of the day for them. Shelby’s mother was diagnosed with breast cancer a few months back and has been there every step of the way for her wedding day. The photos of them getting ready to send her daughter off makes me nothing but teary eye’d. Jason and Shelby also shared a very private first look to calm the nerves. She also shared a first look with her step dad and father. (Please see the sweetest photos below) Shelby rode down in a horse and carriage before the ceremony started. The reception was such a blast. I convinced them both to do a night time flash shoot and it did not disappoint!
